Refund Policy

North American Saxophone Alliance (NASA)

Effective Date: August 15th, 2025

The North American Saxophone Alliance (NASA) is committed to providing valuable services and experiences to its members and participants. We recognize that situations may arise that require reconsideration of payments made to the organization. This policy outlines our approach to refunds in a fair and transparent manner.

1. Eligibility for Refunds

Refunds may be considered for the following types of payments:

  • Membership dues (in exceptional circumstances)
  • Conference registration fees
  • Event or workshop fees
  • Merchandise purchased through official NASA channels

Refund requests must be submitted in writing within 30 days of the transaction date unless otherwise specified in event or program-specific policies.

2. Approval Process

All refund requests are subject to review and approval by the NASA Executive Board. Each request will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis, taking into consideration:

  • The reason for the request
  • The timing of the request
  • Any non-refundable expenses already incurred
  • The nature of the product or service purchased

3. Non-Refundable Items

The following are generally non-refundable:

  • Donations
  • Transaction fees
  • Late fees or penalties
  • Custom merchandise or digital products already delivered

4. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please contact webmaster@saxalliance.org with the following information:

  • Full name
  • Contact information
  • Description of the original transaction (date, amount, and purpose)
  • Reason for refund request
  • Any supporting documentation

You will receive confirmation of your request within 5 business days and a final decision within 15 business days, unless additional review is required.

5. Refund Disbursement

If a refund is approved, it will be processed using the original method of payment unless otherwise agreed upon. Refunds may take 7–10 business days to appear on your statement.

6. Policy Updates

This policy may be amended from time to time by the Executive Board. The most current version will always be posted on our website.
